Senator Adeola Calls for Extension of 2024 Budget Capital Deadline to December

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, has highlighted the need to extend the capital expenditure implementation period of the 2024 budget.

He explained that the current deadline of June 30, 2025, should be pushed to December 31, 2025, to accommodate several ongoing projects that have not yet received funding or commenced execution.
