Rivers Govt Defends N100,000 Christmas Bonus
The Rivers State Government has defended the N100,000 Christmas bonus paid to workers, clarifying that the gesture was extended to all civil and public servants on the state’s payroll.
In a statement issued by Honour Sirawoo, permanent secretary in the Ministry of Information, said the bonus was not selective and applied across the board to eligible workers.
