Reno Omokri Says He Declined Offer to Be Atiku’s Spokesperson but Helped Build His Media Team

Reno Omokri has revealed that he turned down an offer to serve as Atiku Abubakar’s spokesperson.

 According to Omokri, he felt it was inappropriate to act as a spokesperson for a sitting president and then take on the same role for a presidential candidate.

 However, he played a key role in shaping Atiku’s media strategy by hiring his media team.

 Omokri specifically mentioned that he recruited Segun Showunmi for the position, personally conducted his interview, and determined his salary.
