Protests Erupt Across U.S. Against Trump and Musk Over Policy Changes and Job Cuts

On Saturday, thousands of protesters gathered across major U.S. cities for a series of "Hands Off" rallies, targeting President Donald Trump's immigration policies and Elon Musk’s leadership of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which has overseen extensive government job cuts. 

The protests were organized by Democratic activists who criticized both Trump and Musk for policies they believe are detrimental to public services, jobs, and civil rights.

The organizers released a statement accusing both figures of treating the country as their own personal domain, claiming their actions jeopardize healthcare, jobs, and personal data. 

"They’re seizing everything our healthcare, our jobs, our data and daring anyone to stop them. This is a crisis," the statement read.
