President Tinubu Appoints Bishop Matthew Kukah as Pro-Chancellor of Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Bishop Matthew Kukah, the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council for the newly established Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia, Kaduna State.

Bishop Kukah, known for his advocacy on national issues and deep commitment to education and governance, is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the university’s vision and policies.

This appointment follows President Tinubu’s recent signing of the bill establishing the institution, aimed at expanding access to technical and applied science education in Nigeria.
