Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has reaffirmed his commitment to retaining defender Cristian “Cuti” Romero, describing him as a vital figure in the squad’s future.

Speaking to the media, Postecoglou emphasized Romero's influence, saying: “It’s very important to keep Cuti Romero and for the long term. He’s absolutely essential to this football club.” 

He also praised the Argentine’s recent performances, noting that despite struggling with a toe injury, Romero has continued to give his best and earned the full respect of his teammates.
