Police Begin Manhunt for Serial Fraudster Who Lures Female Ushers with Fake Jobs, Steals Their Belongings

The Nigerian Police have launched a manhunt for a suspected serial fraudster, Onyekachukwu Peters, who is accused of luring female ushers with fake job offers and stealing their personal belongings.

According to reports, Peters allegedly booked over 50 ushers at Nue Crest Hotel, Trans Ekulu, Enugu, under the pretense of hiring them for an event. However, his true intention was to rob them.

He reportedly instructed the ushers to leave their phones and other valuables in a designated area while they went to eat at the hotel's restaurant, preparing for a job that never existed. By the time they returned, Peters had vanished with their belongings.

The public is advised to stay alert and report any information regarding Onyekachukwu Peters’ whereabouts to the nearest police station.
