Paystack Terminates Cofounder Ezra Olubi Citing Reputational Damage
Paystack has terminated the employment of its cofounder, Ezra Olubi, citing “significant negative reputational damage” linked to resurfaced tweets.
The fintech company emphasized that the decision was made independently of ongoing investigations into workplace misconduct allegations.
In a statement, Paystack said it acted within its contractual rights and “followed due process,” noting that all financial entitlements owed to Olubi have been settled.
“As a regulated company operating in multiple markets, we have a responsibility to act quickly when conduct has the potential to undermine trust,” the statement read
