Pastor T.D. Jakes, the founder and long-time leader of The Potter's House, has announced that he will be stepping back from his duties and passing the leadership of the megachurch to his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and her husband, Toure Roberts. 

This decision comes months after a medical incident that occurred onstage, which ultimately led to him undergoing surgery.

Jakes, who founded the church in 1996, shared the news with the congregation on Sunday, marking a significant shift in leadership.
