Over 100 Undocumented Workers Found in Major ICE Raid at Nebraska Food Plant
In what has become the largest workplace immigration raid in Nebraska under the Trump administration, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) uncovered over 100 undocumented workers at Glenn Valley Foods in Omaha.
According to federal officials, many of the individuals were employed using fake identification or had stolen the identities of U.S. citizens.
Company owner Gary Rohwer expressed deep frustration, saying he had relied on the E-Verify system and believed he followed all the proper hiring procedures. Now, he faces the daunting task of replacing nearly his entire workforce.
