Oshiomhole Denies Meddling in Air Peace Operations, Rejects Special Treatment at Airport
Senator Adams Oshiomhole has spoken out against accusations of interfering with Air Peace flight operations, firmly denying any wrongdoing.
Recounting a recent incident at the airport, the former Edo State governor said he was denied boarding despite having a valid ticket.
“I got to the airport with my ticket, but they refused to let me board. Then someone said, ‘It’s Oshiomhole,’ and a senior manager came out offering to ‘sort me out.’ I told him, ‘No, I don’t want personal favors,’” he explained.
Oshiomhole has since filed a formal complaint with the Minister of Aviation, alleging attempted extortion and calling for a thorough investigation into the matter
