Orji Kalu Urges Zamfara Governor Lawal to Align with President Tinubu for Development

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (Abia North) is urging Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal to reconcile any political differences with President Bola Tinubu in a bid to enable greater federal funding for developmental projects in the state.

The senator made these comments on Monday while inaugurating the new Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development alongside the renovated Zamfara College of Arts and Science in Gusau, the state’s capital.

He explained, “The President is not just a political ally; he’s a friend. Some think we first met when we were governors  that's not true. My children used to live in his home, and his wife, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, cared for them while we were in Abia and they went to school in Lagos. They stayed at the President’s residence in Marina.”
