Ondo Government Prohibits Graduation Parties in Primary and Junior Secondary Schools

The Ondo State Government has announced a ban on graduation ceremonies for pupils in primary and junior secondary schools across the state.

 According to the directive, schools are no longer permitted to organize such events, as authorities believe they place unnecessary financial pressure on parents and distract from the true purpose of basic education. 

The decision has stirred mixed reactions among teachers and parents, with some applauding the move while others argue it denies children memorable school experiences.
