Odumodublvck Claims His Mic Was Cut at the Headies for Talking About Jesus, Not Lagos Governor 

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has alleged that his microphone was muted during his speech at the Headies Awards because he chose to speak about Jesus rather than a political figure.

In a post shared online, the artist expressed his disappointment, suggesting that if he had been praising Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu instead, the moment wouldn't have been interrupted.

“I was talking about Jesus and they tried to shut me down,” he wrote. “I’m one hundred percent sure that if I had been talking about His Excellency Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, I would not have been cut off.”
