Nottingham Forest have submitted an official €13 million offer, plus add-ons, for AS Monaco defender Soungoutou Magassa.
However, Monaco are demanding €18 million plus add-ons before agreeing to a deal.
Magassa is reportedly eager to join Forest, attracted by the opportunity to play in the Premier League and compete in European football.
