Nigeria’s Police Force Needs Expansion and Consistent Training – CDS Gen. Musa

Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has emphasized the importance of both expanding and strengthening the Nigerian police through consistent training, drawing comparisons with the military's approach to readiness.

According to Gen. Musa, while increasing the number of police officers is necessary, the real transformation lies in adopting a structured and ongoing training system similar to that of the armed forces. 

“The reason the military remains strong is because our level of training is consistent. We are not many, yet we train consistently,” he explained.
