Nigeria’s New E-Visa Policy to Enhance Diaspora Engagement and Tourism – Interior Minister

The Minister of Interior of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening migration management and enhancing diaspora engagement through the newly introduced automated E-visa system.

Speaking after a meeting with a delegation from Discover Motherland Africa, led by Timi Ayeni and Chidimma Nwankwo, the minister emphasized that the initiative is designed to create a seamless process for Nigerians in the diaspora, tourists, and short-term visitors to engage with the country.

"Discover Motherland envisions a globally connected Nigerian community where members of the diaspora can seamlessly engage with their heritage, contribute to national development, and celebrate our rich culture," he said
