Nigeria Immigration Service Launches Contactless Passport Application System for Nigerians Abroad

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has announced the rollout of a contactless passport application system in Europe, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, set to launch on February 7, 2025.

 This initiative aims to simplify the passport application and renewal processes for Nigerians living in the diaspora.

Kemi Nanna Nandap, the NIS Comptroller General, stated that this new system will allow Nigerians abroad to apply for and renew their passports online from the comfort of their homes.

 During a recent visit to Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Nandap emphasized the benefits of the initiative
