Nigeria Faces Extra Play Off in March if They Beat Gabon
If the Super Eagles overcome Gabon in the upcoming World Cup qualifying play offs, they won’t qualify directly for the tournament just yet.
Instead, they’ll advance to an intercontinental play-off mini-tournament scheduled for March next year in the United States.
In that tournament, Nigeria will compete against the best losers from four other continents for just two available World Cup tickets.
