NFF Responds to Allegations Over Missing Football Funds

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reacted to public concerns over the alleged disappearance of several development funds reportedly amounting to $25 million, an additional $10 million, and ₦17 billion received from FIFA, CAF, and the Federal Government since 2014.

According to the NFF, all funds received from international and government bodies were allocated strictly for “specific purposes” and properly utilized in accordance with the guidelines attached to each financial release.

The clarification comes after widespread questions from Nigerians demanding accountability and transparency regarding the huge sums directed towards football development over the years.
