New Tariffs Could Lead to Major Price Increases for Apple Products
Recent tariff measures on imported electronics are expected to significantly raise the prices of key Apple products, including iPhones, Apple Watches, iPads, AirPods, and Macs.
Analysts from Rosenblatt Securities predict that the base iPhone 16 could see a price jump from $799 to $1,142, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max might rise from $1,599 to nearly $2,300.
The new tariffs, which could add up to 54% to the current cost, will increase the price of a typical iPhone by $296.86, bringing it to a total of $846.59.
The tariffs, mainly affecting devices produced in regions with high import duties, could lead to an additional $39.5 billion in costs for Apple.
These price hikes are expected to put more pressure on consumers amid a global market slowdown
