Nasarawa: Nigeria’s Emerging Industrial Powerhouse, Comparable to China’s Growth Model – Mohammed Adamu
Former Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has described Nasarawa State as Nigeria’s rising industrial hub, drawing bold comparisons to China’s economic transformation.
In a recent article, Adamu noted that while the comparison might seem ambitious, Nasarawa shares several critical similarities with China’s path to becoming a global industrial leader, particularly in the electric vehicle and technology sectors.
Adamu explained that after his retirement from the police force, he became more actively involved in observing national development trends, especially in his home state.
He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his focused leadership and the successful implementation of the Nasarawa Economic Development Strategy (NEDS), which is aimed at positioning the state among Nigeria’s top three most competitive economies.
