NADF Partners with NOVA Bank and FMN to Support Kaduna Maize Farmers in N1.5 Billion Pilot Project

The National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF), in partnership with NOVA Bank and Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN), has launched a N1.5 billion pilot scheme aimed at empowering 1,500 small-scale maize farmers in Kaduna State.

This initiative, which falls under the first phase of the National Agricultural Development Programme (NADP-1), is set to develop 1,500 hectares of farmland, with plans to eventually reach 10,000 farmers by the end of the current rainy season.

Speaking at the official launch event in Abuja on Wednesday, Mohammed Abu Ibrahim, the Executive Secretary of NADF, described the project as a milestone in the Fund’s commitment to boosting smallholder productivity and strengthening the agricultural value chain.
