MTN Nigeria Surpasses N1 Trillion in Q1 2025 Revenue, Driven by Data and Fintech Growth

MTN Nigeria has crossed the N1 trillion revenue milestone in the first quarter of 2025, marking a 40.5% surge compared to the N752.9 billion recorded in the same period last year. 

This significant growth comes even before the full effects of recent tariff adjustments take hold.

A closer look at MTN's Q1 2025 performance reveals data services as the top contributor, raking in N529 billion a 51.5% jump year-on-year. Voice services followed with N407 billion, up by 27.7%.

 Digital services revenue saw an impressive 92.1% growth, reaching N26.1 billion, while the fintech division brought in N36 billion, reflecting a 57.9% increase.
