Morocco Begins Construction of World’s Largest Football Stadium, Set to Host 2030 FIFA World Cup Final

Morocco has commenced the development of Le Grand Stade Hassan II, a mega-arena projected to become the largest football stadium in the world. Designed to seat 115,000 fans, the state of the art facility will host the FIFA World Cup final in 2030 once completed.

The $500 million project  which exceeds the cost of Kenya’s Talanta City stadium by $156 million is expected to be ready by 2028.
