The Lagos State Government is preparing to introduce new monthly and quarterly rent payment options to help alleviate the financial strain on residents, particularly those with low incomes.

This announcement was made by the Commissioner for Housing, Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, during the 2025 Ministerial Press Briefing on Tuesday, marking Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s second year in office.

Akinderu-Fatai explained that the initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to enhance housing affordability and accessibility across Lagos.
