Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, has announced a significant shift in the government’s approach to supporting vulnerable communities.
According to him, the focus is now moving from the routine distribution of daily food supplies to empowering people through food production.
He explained that climate-smart agriculture is playing a key role in helping displaced populations return to farming, enabling them to rebuild their livelihoods and become self-sufficient.
