Mauritania’s Sidi Ould Tah Elected New Head of African Development Bank
Sidi Ould Tah of Mauritania has been elected as the new President of the African Development Bank Group.
His appointment was confirmed during the institution’s Annual Meetings held today in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
Ould Tah, a former finance minister of Mauritania, will succeed Nigeria’s Akinwumi Adesina, who has served two consecutive terms leading the continent’s premier development finance institution over the past decade.
