Lagos Unveils OMI EKO Project with 78 New Electric Ferries
The Lagos State Government will officially launch the OMI EKO Project today, October 17, 2025, marking a major step in transforming water transportation in the state.
As part of the initiative, 78 modern high capacity electric ferries with seating for 50 to 200 passengers each will be introduced to boost eco friendly and efficient transport across Lagos waterways.
