 LAGOS GOVT AIDE FIRES BACK AT SOLOMON BUCHI OVER LAGOS COMMENTS! ????

A war of words has erupted online after social commentator Solomon Buchi advised foreigners visiting Nigeria to look beyond Lagos if they want to experience what he described as the country’s “truest” culture.

Buchi criticized aspects of Lagos nightlife and lifestyle, arguing that cities such as Ibadan, Uyo and Abuja offer a better representation of Nigerian heritage.

But Gboyega Akosile, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Lagos State Governor, was not having it. ????

Responding on X, Akosile accused Buchi of being unnecessarily bitter toward Lagos instead of using the opportunity to promote other Nigerian destinations.

He also argued that the very nightlife, entertainment and lifestyle Buchi criticized are among the things that attract international visitors to Lagos.

Then came the clapback: “I wonder what you guys smoke before you set up your ring lights and cameras, that makes you vomit diatribes.” ????????
