Lagos Athletes Impress at 2025 Gateway Games Opening, Aim for Podium Success

Lagos State athletes showcased remarkable skill and team spirit at the opening ceremony of the 22nd National Sports Festival, also known as the Gateway Games 2024, held in Abeokuta. 

The festival remains Nigeria’s premier event for uncovering sporting talents and promoting national unity.

The Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Hon. Lekan Fatodu, expressed confidence that the Lagos contingent, representing the Centre of Excellence, is set to deliver exciting performances and secure podium finishes throughout the competition.
