Japan Clarifies: No Special Visa Privileges in New “JICA Africa Hometown” Initiative
The Government of Japan has clarified that its newly launched “JICA Africa Hometown” program does not involve granting Nigerians or other Africans special visas or immigration benefits.
Officials explained that the initiative is focused on development cooperation, knowledge exchange, and community based projects, rather than migration or residency opportunities
