A Nigerian man has publicly criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over Nigeria’s persistent electricity crisis.

In a video circulating online, the man expressed frustration over frequent power outages and the increasing cost of keeping homes and businesses running with generators.

He questioned why Nigerians continue to struggle with unreliable electricity despite paying for power and spending huge amounts on petrol and diesel to keep their generators running.

He also called out the Minister of Power and other officials responsible for the sector, insisting that those unable to deliver reliable electricity should make way for others.

“Nobody forced you to occupy that office. If you’re not capable, step aside. You can’t keep telling Nigerians that electricity isn’t your responsibility. If you can’t fix the problem, get out of the way,” he said.

The video has reignited conversations about Nigeria’s electricity challenges and the growing financial burden placed on households and businesses.
