Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has revealed that he acquired his first private jet at just 22 and a half years old. ????????

Dangote made the revelation on Monday, September 14, at the Nigerian Exchange in Lagos during the formal launch of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals IPO.

Reflecting on his journey as a businessman, Dangote said he has enjoyed his success but now places greater emphasis on channeling wealth into productive investments that can contribute to economic development.

“I had my first private jet at 22 and a half years old.”

He also urged wealthy Nigerians who own extremely expensive private aircraft to consider putting more of their wealth into production and businesses that can create economic value.

“We are not going to be a great nation without doing something productive.”

Dangote’s message: wealth should not only be about luxury — it should also be about building and producing. ????????????
