House of Representatives Announces Zonal and National Public Hearings for 2025 Constitution Review

The House of Representatives Committee on the Review of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has officially released the schedule for the 2025 constitutional review public hearings.

 The hearings are set to take place across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones from July 11 to July 25, 2025, providing citizens the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing amendment of the nation’s constitution.

According to the committee, the hearings will begin in the Northern geopolitical zones. The North East sessions will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the International Conference Centre, Gombe, for Gombe, Bauchi, and Taraba States. Another session will take place at Mohammed Indimi Hall, University of Maiduguri, Borno State, for participants from Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa States.
