Hakeem Baba-Ahmed Resigns as President Tinubu's Political Adviser

Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the political adviser to President Bola Tinubu, has resigned from his position, according to sources. Baba-Ahmed submitted his resignation approximately two weeks ago, citing personal reasons, though he did not elaborate further.

 It is still unclear whether the presidency has formally accepted his resignation.

Baba-Ahmed was appointed in September 2023 as Special Adviser on Political Matters in the Office of Vice President Kashim Shettima.
