Guardiola Responds to Gündogan-Galatasaray Rumors: “He’s Still in My Plans”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has addressed recent speculation linking Ilkay Gündogan with a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

“I’m not aware of anything,” Guardiola said when asked about the rumored transfer. “Right now, we have a large squad maybe too many players but Ilkay remains fully in my thoughts and part of the team.”

The statement suggests Gündogan is still very much involved in City’s current plans, despite swirling transfer rumors.
