Governor Zulum Declares Statewide Fasting and Prayers 

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has declared a day of fasting and prayers in response to the renewed activities of Boko Haram terrorists in the north-east region.

The decision comes amid rising concerns over recent attacks and escalating insecurity affecting several communities. 

Governor Zulum said the spiritual intervention is necessary alongside ongoing military operations, stressing that both prayer and action are needed to overcome the long standing insurgency.
