Government Operations Stalling Due to Payment Failures — Senator Yahaya Abdullahi

Senator Yahaya Abdullahi, representing Kebbi North, has raised concerns over the current challenges facing government operations.

According to him, many contractors who have successfully completed their projects are yet to receive payment. 

He criticized the centralized payment system managed by the Accountant-General of the Federation (AGF), describing it as a failed process that is significantly delaying government activities.

"Right now, government operations are being stalled. Even contractors who have finished their work have not been paid. The centralized payment method through the AGF has completely failed," Senator Abdullahi stated.
