A tragic incident occurred on Monday in Billiri, Gombe State, when an articulated truck loaded with goods lost control and crashed into a group of Easter celebrants.

 The crash, which took place along Tashan Gona, resulted in several fatalities and injuries as the group was returning from a prayer gathering on a nearby mountain.

Eyewitnesses reported that the impact of the crash killed several people instantly, with some victims left unrecognizable due to the severity of the collision.
