FG to Launch Special Database to Track Nigerian Farmers and Their Produce
The federal government is set to create a special database for farmers, detailing the size and location of their farms to improve identification and traceability of agricultural produce.
The announcement was made by Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, in Maiduguri, Borno State, who said the initiative will be implemented in collaboration with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC)
