FedEx Cargo Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Engine Fire at Newark Airport
A FedEx cargo plane was forced to return to Newark Liberty International Airport for an emergency landing after one of its engines caught fire shortly after takeoff.
The incident happened on Saturday morning, when the Boeing 767-3S2F took off around 8:00 am, heading for Indianapolis. However, within minutes, flames erupted from the plane’s right engine, forcing the crew to declare an emergency and return to the airport.
Video footage captured the dramatic moment the plane raced back to the runway, with fire visibly shooting from its wing. Emergency response teams were already waiting on the ground to quickly put out the flames.
