Federal Government Allocates N100 Billion for Solar Mini-Grids in Public Institutions

The Federal Government has allocated N100 billion for the installation of solar mini-grids in public institutions, a strategic move aimed at reducing energy expenses. 

This announcement was made by Abba Aliyu, the Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), during an interview on Channels Television's show, The Morning Brief, on Tuesday.

Aliyu explained that the electrification project will commence as soon as President Bola Tinubu signs the budget into law.
