Everton are close to triggering their €18 million obligation to buy clause for Charly Alcaraz, as the clause becomes active once he plays five more games for the club.
The Argentine midfielder, currently on loan from Southampton, has been gradually integrating into Sean Dyche’s squad.
Once the required appearances are met, Everton will be obligated to make the transfer permanent.
