Ekiti Police Deny Reported Kidnapping of EKSU Graduate, Say It Was Fabricated

The Ekiti State Police Command has dismissed viral reports about the alleged kidnapping of Helen Kayode, a graduate of Ekiti State University (EKSU), describing the incident as false and orchestrated.

According to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, SP Abutu Sunday, on Friday, May 2, 2025, the police were alerted by a family member who claimed Helen had been kidnapped along the Iworoko-Ado Ekiti road.
