EFCC Presents First Witness in N3.4bn, $2.5m Cybercrime Trial Involving Two Chinese, One Nigerian
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has begun presenting its case against Friday Audu, Huang Haoyu, and An Hongxu, who are facing trial for their alleged involvement in a cybercrime scheme valued at N3.4 billion and $2,562,203.
The trial commenced on Monday, June 23, 2025, before Justice Daniel Osiagor at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The EFCC called its first prosecution witness, Chidubem Ogbura, a banker with Union Bank Plc
