EFCC Hands Over Seized CBN Assets to Housing Ministry for Public Sale

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Olanipekun Olukoyede, has formally transferred ownership of 753 duplexes confiscated from a former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor to the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Housing, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, who stated that the properties, located in the Cadastral Zone of the Federal Capital Territory, will be sold to the public through a transparent, competitive process on the Renewed Hope Portal.

“This transfer aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s directive to ensure that recovered assets are utilized for the benefit of Nigerians,” Dangiwa said
