Edo State Council of NURTW Resumes Operations as Governor Lifts Ban

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has officially lifted the ban on the activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the state. This decision comes as the union prepares to resume its operations following a period of inactivity.

During the lifting ceremony, the National President of NURTW, Alhaji Musilu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), and the General Secretary, Comrade Kayode S.A. Aigbeyangi, were present alongside the governor. 

In light of the resumed activities, the union has elected a new set of executive members who will oversee its affairs for the next four years. The National President emphasized the importance of unity, urging the newly elected Edo State NURTW Chairman to ensure that all members are included in the union's activities and to promote peace across all branches within the eighteen local government areas of the state.
