Dawn Richard Testifies in Court, Describes Alleged 2009 Assault by Sean “Diddy” Combs

Singer Dawn Richard took the witness stand on Friday, May 16, in a federal court, providing testimony in the ongoing criminal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs. 

Richard, formerly of the group Danity Kane, recounted witnessing an alleged assault by Combs against singer Cassie Ventura.

According to Richard, the incident occurred in 2009 at Diddy’s residence in Los Angeles. She described seeing Combs physically attack Cassie, kicking her and attempting to hit her with a skillet filled with egg
