Commuters Struggle with Gridlock on Oshodi’s Alternative Pedestrian Bridge During Morning Rush

This morning, the alternative pedestrian bridge in Oshodi became heavily congested as thousands of commuters tried to make their way to work.

 The overwhelming crowd sparked fresh concerns over safety and the ease of movement during peak hours.

The congestion follows the closure of the primary pedestrian bridge connecting Terminals 2 and 3, which was shut down last month after structural issues were detected. Authorities cited public safety concerns, noting that the bridge was observed to be vibrating under heavy foot traffic.

With only one pedestrian bridge now serving the entire area, the alternative route has come under intense strain, leaving commuters squeezed into a slow-moving human traffic jam.
